Electric City Maker Faire at Union College in Schenectady!

Build a paper straw pyramid, learn the art of quilling, and make a circuit to light up your artwork using Chibitronics Launchpad LEDs and batteries! I’ll be there with displays of projects from my books MAKING SIMPLE ROBOTS, BOTS, and PAPER INVENTIONS and copies to autograph. More information about this FREE event is at electriccity.makerfaire.com.

Electric City Maker Faire, hosted by the Union College Maker Web, is held every other year. The 2022 event attracted over 35 exhibitors and 400 guests. Admission is free and features exhibitors, demonstrations, workshops and hands-on activities. Exhibitors include faculty and students, local makers, small businesses, high school STEAM programs, First Robotics, local Maker Spaces from Union, the Capital District, and beyond!

Maker Faire Long Island

I’m excited to be going to Maker Faire Long Island for the first time! Come hear my talk about my new book, Making Simple Robots and how it helps kids learn to turn ideas into plans, test and improve their sample projects, and share their excitement and accomplishments with others. Here’s my page on the site.

Maker Faire Long Island is held at the Long Island Explorium in the picturesque Village of Port Jefferson. Lots of great guest Makers, so check it out!
