I offer individual video consultations, and online group sessions with Q&A for libraries, community organizations, and small parent groups.

Fee: $75 for 45 minutes for live Zoom chat with follow-up emails
Homeschooling in NYS Workshops
60-90 minutes (including Q&A), 25 attendees max, Fee: $275
Homeschooling can be a great choice for many families. And it's not as hard as you think! Award-winning author, educator, and homeschool veteran Kathy Ceceri will answer your questions about how to fulfill NYS requirements while creating a rewarding educational experience for children and parents alike. Kathy was the Homeschooling Expert for About:com (now ThoughtCo) and a columnist for Home Education Magazine. The parent of two young adults who were homeschooled from kindergarten up until college, she currently offers robotics and other online STEAM classes through SEA Homeschoolers.
Participants get access to a PDF with helpful links and a few of my articles of homeschooling tips and my packet of "homeschooling high school to college" articles.

In my individual and group sessions, I can:
walk you through the regulations so you understand what you need to do at each stage
work with you to find ways to meet the minimum requirements that fit your goals for your kids. (There is no extra credit for reporting more than you have to!)
help you find free and low-cost learning materials to cover the topics you’re interested in exploring
show you how to use your favorite resources and activities to fulfill the state regulations for each subject
guide you through the creation of a high school transcript that demonstrates your student’s accomplishments to colleges.
