Create a Solar WobbleBot from recycled materials with instructor Kathy Ceceri. Each unique bot will meet this year's Students Rebuild Challenge -- the Extraordinary Earth Project. Solar Eclipse Paper Circuit Workshop in Germantown!

• Ages 6-14. (Caregivers should plan to stay but do not need to RSVP)
On Monday, April 8, 2024, people in our area and across North America will get to experience the wonder of a solar eclipse. In this workshop with STEAM author Kathy Ceceri, kids and teens learn how an eclipse occurs, find out what to expect when it happens, and then make their own light-up eclipse simulation.

Younger kids can make a Light-up Corona that glows when you squeeze the moon. Older kids and teens can create a Moon Slider Switch to turn on the corona’s light show at the moment of totality.

Hosted by Sustainable Saratoga and Skidmore College, the 2023 Saratoga Sustainability Fair brings the community together to advocate for and improve our environment. Kids activities will take place on the 2nd floor of Case Center from 12:30 to 3:30 pm. You can also enjoy various speakers and workshops, an electric vehicle car and bike show, and exhibitor booths presented by businesses and non-profits in energy, climate, equity, environmental education.
I will be there with my Solar, Wind, and Water Power projects and a hands-on activity from 12:30 to 3:30 pm. I’ll also have books and kits for sale. Come and say hi!
