What you need:
masking tape
disposable straw, tongue depressor, or stiff paper rolled up into a straw-shaped tube
LED light strand with batteries (available in dollar stores)
To make it programmable:
Circuit Playground Express – Base Kit or BBC Micro:bit with batteries and USB cable
(optional)
8mm nylon conductive tape or 1/4″ Maker Tape
cardstock or heavy paper
LEDs — standard 3mm or 5mm LEDs, Adafruit Sequins, or an Adafruit NeoPixel LED Strip w/ Alligator Clips
